The Black Panther wouldn't be nothing, nothing without his Mother, Shuri, Okoey and Nakia

I'm sure by now most of you have seen Black Panther, though some say its just a movie, you can't overlook the deeper meanings of some parts in this masterpiece. So, let's dig deeper.

T'challa & Killmonger with women

One of the things that stood out to me was the view of women from the male perspective. Killmonger and T'challa come from two different worlds; Killmonger being mostly raised without his parents (his father died while young and we there was no mention of his mother) in Oakland eventually decides to serve his country. The most damaging was moving around with a chip on his shoulder to get revenge for his father. T'challa, on the other side of the world was living it up in Wakanda. He was fortunate enough to be brought by loving parents and understood the beauty of having a younger sister. To then being introduced to Okoye, which could look at as a very close friend and Nakia his love interest. None of these women treated him different or gave in to him because he was heir to throne. All that brings me to this point. Eventually, when T'challa becomes the King of Wakanda, we got to see the true strength of those women. They had enough screen time on their own to make to show the viewers their strength and wittiness. We saw how much he depended on them for guidance and emotional support. One of the most important interactions was with Nakia, he took in what she said about giving back to the world and broke tradition and open the borders. Killmonger's only love interest got in the way of his goal, so he got rid of her without hesitation. He felt such pride after dividing and conquering Wakanda all on his own. I think this was purposely done so that viewers can go home and discuss what stood out to them. That's one of the beauties of this film, though we all saw the same movie, it will have a different on impact us due to our race, sex or age.
